If you are thinking Facebook is free, It isn't. It charges for the every account you create.But, not in the way most people think.

Instead of charging you, Facebook charges a third party company for access to your information to advertise for you.

So Facebook already charges every user.

Facebook makes roughly $4.01 per user per quarter. This means roughly $1.33 per month.

About 1% of users would pay this. And Facebook could easily charge $3 a month for privacy.

The fact is that most people don't care about their lack of privacy. This is why Facebook is popular and Google is more popular than DuckDuckGo.

However, 1% of users would actually care about privacy over customization. And they would be willing to pay for more privacy.

In the end, Facebook already charges for every user. If they started charging for every user to have complete privacy, a very small percentage of users would actually pay.
